Amanda M.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hello, my name is Amanda, and I am a registered dental hygienist with a bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill. I grew up in the Fuquay area and graduated from UNC in 2013, so I have been practicing for a decade now which is hard to believe! I spent the first four years of my career practicing at a large practice in Cary where I learned a ton from seasoned dentists and specialists. I am grateful for that experience but really have enjoyed working at Avent Ferry Family Dentistry since 2018, this is home for me. My goal for my patients is to make everyone feel both comfortable in the dental chair and informed in their decisions made during treatment planning. What I love most about my job is the relationships I have built with my patients; I truly look forward to seeing each and every one of them and caring for them. Both the staff here and the patients have become like family to me and that is priceless. I am fortunate to have found a career that I truly love and actually enjoy coming to work.
I have two beautiful children, who are the light of my life. I enjoy traveling and have been fortunate to visit five continents and over 15 countries in my life! In my spare time I also enjoy gardening, reading and yoga. I can’t wait to meet you at your next visit!
